Last Action Hero is a 1993 Action-Comedy-Fantasy movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and directed by John McTiernan. What does it mean to Gleam a Cube? I don’t know, you don’t know and I would wager to guess that just about nobody knows. I couldn’t tell you why they decided to name a late 80’s movie about a teenager skateboarding with his bros, striking up a relationship with his dead brother’s girlfriend, and finding the people responsible for his brother’s death Gleaming the Cube, but they did and we’re going to talk about it today on Movie Tuesday.

Nestled in between Speed and The Matrix is a Keanu Reeves film that often gets forgotten. And, I gotta say, it’s a little ironic that a movie with the word Mnemonic in it would be forgotten. And yet… here we are. I had never seen Johnny Mnemonic until I checked it out on Netflix this week. I can’t believe I missed this 90’s classic. But, I’m excited to talk about it on today’s Movie Tuesday.
